Virtualizations¶

The following virtualization is supported by the Business Bot Platform:

• Oracle VirtualBox 5.x
• Oracle VirtualBox 6.x
• VMware ESXi 5.x
• VMware ESXi 6.x
• VMware ESXi 7.x
• VMware vSphere 6.x
• Microsoft Hyper-V, provided in Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019

Operating Systems¶

The following operating systems are supported by the Business Bot Platform:

• Linux CentOS 7.3
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.x
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 (NT 6.2)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (NT 6.3)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2016 (NT 10.0)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (NT 10.0)
• Microsoft Windows 10 (NT 10.0; Codename: „Threshold”) (Only for test purposes, no productive use)

Microsoft Windows Installations on Qualified & Validated Platforms:

• For all Microsoft Windows Versions: The BBP required package Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64) (VC14)

JDK¶

The following JDK versions are supported by the Business Bot Platform:

for Windows:

• Oracle Java Development Kit (JDK) 8 Update 152 or higher
• AdoptOpenJDK JDK 8 Update 112 or higher with OpenJ9
• AdoptOpenJDK JDK 11.0.x with OpenJ9

for CentOS:

• Oracle Java Development Kit (JDK) 8 Update 77 or higher
• AdoptOpenJDK JDK 8 Update 112 or higher with OpenJ9
• AdoptOpenJDK JDK 11.0.x with OpenJ9

JRE is not supported.
